Mud Lake Passive House
A custom new home designed for the health and longevity of it’s owners – and the planet.
This custom new home built just outside of Madison completed in 2018 was designed using passive house principles and building practices. The design features two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an open living room/kitchen, and a mudroom connector between the home and adjacent barn/living space built by the homeowner.
The simple, open layout makes this modest ~1200SF footprint highly versatile for the homeowners. Large triple-pane windows are stunning and exceptionally performing. Read more about the passive house building process in our blog series here.
